Many of you recently received renewal notices for library material, and we wanted to try to clear up any confusion you may have about due dates. The campus library system automatically sent out renewal notices for material checked out that originally had due dates after March 1, 2020 that had been automatically extended to February 1, 2021. You received that email because the library isn't automatically renewing material at this time, so they're just sending renewal reminders about it. If you still need the material, you can renew it by logging onto your OskiCat account (here are instructions) and following the directions there. If you are having difficulty renewing your material or if you have any other questions, please email us (itslib@berkeley.edu) so we can assist you.
Unfortunately you can't renew items on OskiCat if you got them on interlibrary loan from Interlibrary Services. Please email Interlibrary Services (cuy@library.berkeley.edu) so they can assist you.
If you no longer need material and are able and comfortable going to campus, you can return it to the book drops on the north and south sides of Doe Library, as well as the south entrance to Moffitt Library. If you requested material through OskiXpress, the due dates for those have not changed.
