The Institue of Transportation Studies Library is one of the leading transportation libraries in the United States. Established in 1948, the ITS Library serves the research needs of the Institute of Transportation Studies at Berkeley, the Univerity of California Institue of Tranpsortation Stuides, and the rest of California.
The ITS Library is open to the public Monday through Friday from 1pm-5pm.
We are located at 412 McLaughlin Hall on the north-side of the UC Berkeley campus. Situated between McCone, O'Brien, and Bechtel, McLaughlin Hall faces out onto Memorial Glade. Elevator access is through O'Brien Hall, which connects to McLaughlin via a breezeway. The closest intersection to the library is at Hearst and Euclid Ave. Bike parking is located on east and west entrances to McLaughlin Hall. Street parking may be available along Hearst or Euclid.
